I had pretty painful armpit surgery yesterday. It still hurts today, so I had to miss class and deal with my arm that huts a lot. My surgery was really painful, and I had to do a little more today. i will have to have it treated again EVERY day for the next 7 days! I also was in too much pain to go to school today, so I'm getting a little behind. Because I have to tie EVERYTHING in this blog to the hero's journey, I was considering saying that this represented the climax of my hero's journey, or the ultimate showdown, but after I thought about it, I now disagree. There's a good chance that over the course of this year I will go through something else that will make this look petty in comparison. Also, If my teachers want me to blog about my hero's journey through my freshman year in high school, I still have 3/4ths of the year to go! If I start wrapping things up now, how am I going to tie this blog into the hero's journey the rest of the year!
Anyway, I feel like school and my wound aren't making things easy for me.

That is a simple equation showing how I am feeling right now. (again, none of the pictures are mine) I hope this lets you wrap you're mind around what I'm feeling. If this IS my freshman climax, it isn't doing a very good job. It has terrible timing (it's only September!) and it's kind of disappointing. I would have much preferred a sword dual with an abnormally buff, want-to-be omnipotent or battle a flaming demigod with a machine gun with my super-strength and laser-vision than go through this! those other hero's have it easy!
